The new gas pipeline project in Virginia

A new gas pipeline will soon cross Virginia, from Marshall County in the north of West Virginia to Cabell County in the southwest of the state.

The pipeline will be 171 mile (275 km) long and it will supply clean, economical and national production of natural gas. The construction of the gas pipeline will bring many benefits to the people of Virginia, such as more local jobs and less foreign fuel. During construction it will be possible to create 9.000 jobs for workers. The flow capacity of the pipeline will be 2.7 Bcf/d and the gas could be supplied through receiption points in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
