Koreans want to learn more about the regulatory framework, including offshore wind auctions, that Denmark has established to support wind power development, while at the same time promoting its public acceptance.
South Korea plans to expand renewable energy capacity to at least 20% by 2030 from about 7% in 2019. This will require 48,7GW of new clean power capacity to be built.
